چکیده
The rapid development of the automobile industry has resulted in many vehicles, increased traffic, and frequent accidents. complexity road conditions is a major contributor to occurrence traffic Drivers are distracted hence unable fully observe all information make optimal timely driving decisions. This study proposes an auxiliary steering control system with force/tactile guidance (ASCFT) its corresponding strategy address this problem. We combined vehicle autonomous path planning based on condition human–machine sharing strategy, which integrated manipulative force driver virtual wheel. Consequently, ASCFT eliminated mechanical connection between wheel wheels favor force/tactile-assisted structure, providing sense information. Additionally, we proposed smooth trajectory optimization method improved RRT algorithm path-following controller forecast achieve safety driving. ASCFT’s performance was confirmed through constructing fixed-base simulator experimental platform ASCFT. results revealed that at speed 60 km/h handwheel rotation 60°, instantly released turned back about 3.5 s. Furthermore, predictive haptic feedback warned upcoming obstacle.

Modeling and Optimal Control of 4 Wheel Steering Vehicle Using LQR and its Comparison with 2 Wheel Steering Vehicle
In this paper, kinetic and kinematic modeling of a 4 wheel steering vehicle is done and its movement is controlled in an optimal way using Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR). The results are compared with the same control of two-wheel steering case and the advantages are analyzed. In 4 wheel steering vehicles which are nowadays more applicable the number of controlling actuators are more than the...
متن کاملThe Steering Control of an Experimental Autonomous Vehicle the Steering Control of an Experimental Autonomous Vehicle
Experimental results relating to the steering control system of an experimental autonomous vehicle operating in a pre-defined and structured environment are presented. A method of steering control is formulated which relates second-order criteria, such as rise time and damping factor, to the parameters of the control system. With the control system described, the vehicle can track a path of con...
متن کاملFlight Path Angle Steering with Lambert Guidance Reference
In this paper a new guidance technique for ballistic missiles and launch vehicles is proposed. Generally the Lambert guidance is used to generate missile nominal (correlated) parameters through powered flight to put it in a ballistic flight path. Because of uncertainties and undesired factors, the nominal position and velocity obtained by Lambert technique need to be followed in actual flight. ...

The sliding-mode controller (SMC) for the lateral motion control problem of Four Driving-Steering Wheels (4DW/SW) vehicle is presented in this paper. The lane centerline tracking is the main control performance. The dynamic model of the vehicle has been taken into account. Closed-loop robustness to uncertainties is achieved. The lane centerline tracking is achieved using look-ahead techniques. ...
